How it all began
With the opening of the Schlosswirtschaft, a place of encounter and hospitality was created right next to Schleißheim Palace. Since then, visitors, day-trippers and connoisseurs have been coming here to experience Bavarian pub culture in a special atmosphere.
2014
General refurbishment
After many decades of operation, the castle restaurant was extensively restored. The aim was to preserve the historic building and at the same time create the basis for a modern restaurant.
2023
New opening
After years of general renovation, the Schlosswirtschaft reopened its doors. Since then, the traditional building has combined historical architecture with contemporary cuisine and a new gastronomic concept.
2026
Tradition meets modernity
Today, the Schlosswirtschaft is once again a meeting place for guests from the region and Munich. Whether in the beer garden, at dinner or at special events - tradition and enjoyment come together here.
